Cornerstone Health Hospital is a trusted provider of quality healthcare services in Trivandrum. As we strengthen our digital systems to support clinical and operational excellence, we are looking to hire a dedicated IT Intern to join our in-house technology team.

This is a full-time, entry-level role ideal for candidates starting their career in IT and looking to contribute to meaningful work in a healthcare environment.

About the Role

As an IT Intern, you will be a functional member of our IT staff responsible for supporting day-to-day technical operations. You will work closely with hospital departments to provide IT support, maintain systems, and assist in implementing technical solutions that improve efficiency, security, and service delivery.

This role requires a proactive individual with basic IT knowledge, good communication skills, and a readiness to take responsibility in a fast-paced, purpose-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for staff across departments (hardware, software, and network issues)
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and related systems Support internal application usage and minor troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation Follow and help enforce data privacy and cybersecurity protocols
• Coordinate with external vendors or service teams when required

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Knowledge of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office, and standard IT tools
• Strong willingness to learn, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
