Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Writing and maintaining PHP code to create web applications, APIs, and other web-based components.
Working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) to manage data storage and retrieval.
Optimizing code and applications for speed and scalability.
Testing code, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring the application functions correctly.
Implementing security measures to protect web applications from vulnerabilities.
Collaborating with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to ensure a seamless user experience.
Creating and maintaining documentation for the code and applications.

Candidate Profile:

Strong understanding of PHP syntax, best practices, and object-oriented programming principles.
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in web applications.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with other developers and stakeholders.
Knowledge of testing methodologies and debugging tools.
