IT Engineer

Job Title: IT Administrator Location: Lucknow Department: Information Technology Reports To: IT Manager / Head of Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Administrator to oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of our IT infrastructure. This role includes managing hardware, software, networking, CCTV systems, and all IT peripherals to ensure the smooth and secure operation of all technology within the organization. Key Responsibilities: 🔧 IT Infrastructure & Hardware Management Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in a timely manner Ensure asset inventory is up to date and devices are functioning optimally 🌐 Network Administration Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues Configure and manage VPNs and ensure network security and uptime Coordinate with internet service providers for optimal bandwidth usage 💻 Software & System Administration Install, update, and maintain licensed software and operating systems Manage user accounts, access permissions, and data backup processes Perform regular system updates, antivirus scans, and patch management Provide first-line support for software and application-related issues 🎥 CCTV & Surveillance Systems Install and maintain CCTV cameras and DVR/NVR systems Monitor footage quality, storage, and backup Ensure security policies and data protection guidelines are followed 🧰 IT Support & Helpdesk Respond to and resolve IT support tickets and service requests Provide technical support to staff for both hardware and software issues Conduct basic IT training and guidance for new employees Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field 2–5 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role Strong knowledge of networking, Windows/Linux OS, system security, and common business software Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and CCTV systems Familiarity with Active Directory, email clients, backup solutions, and antivirus tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+ / Network+ CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Microsoft Certified: Azure / MCSA CCTV Installation and Surveillance Certification (if available) To Apply: Send your resume to hr@borapolyclinic.com  with the subject line "Application for IT Administrator Position."
