Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Developer (Technical Lead) with 7–10 years of expertise in Spring Boot development to lead our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable Java applications, mentoring team members, and providing end-to-end technical solutions. You will play a pivotal role in project planning, technical decision-making, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Spring Boot developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable backend services and microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
• Own the technical resolution of complex issues, ensuring timely and effective problem-solving throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, UI/UX) to define requirements, set priorities, and deliver solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive best practices for clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Oversee the integration of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and third-party services.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through proactive monitoring and optimization.
• Guide the team in adopting new technologies and frameworks relevant to Java and Spring Boot ecosystems.
• Lead deployment activities and coordinate with DevOps for CI/CD and cloud-based deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for production issues and drive root cause analysis and resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development, with at least 2 years in a team lead or technical lead role.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and integration.
• Proficient in database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with Kafka or real-time data streaming is a plus.
