Workplace Specialist
to provide
second-level technical support
for our
Polypeptide Client PC environment
, covering both
enterprise and manufacturing computers
and related equipment. This role may also include support for workplace services such as
printing, telephony, and conference room equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd level technical support for PC hardware and software in enterprise and manufacturing environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Support workplace services including printers, telephony systems, and conference room AV equipment. Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards. Collaborate with 1 level support teams for escalated issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously work to transfer knowledge to our OPC.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years administering & supporting Microsoft Intune
- 5+ years administering & supporting Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Confident in all aspects of Intune & SCCM, including deployment, compliance, troubleshooting, and application packaging & deployment
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation, compliance, and reporting
- Solid experience with Operating System Deployment (OSD) using SCCM/MDT
- Strong grasp of enterprise device management, certificate-based authentication, and automation
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and remote support tools.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with workplace services (print, telephony, AV equipment).
