Job Description

Role Overview

Adosphere is seeking a proactive and tech-savvy IT & Admin Support Specialist to ensure seamless daily operations across IT systems and administrative functions. This role combines technical expertise with organizational support, helping maintain IT infrastructure while assisting with facility management, vendor coordination, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical assistance, manage IT assets, support internal teams, and contribute to a productive and secure work environment.


Key Responsbilities


IT Support & System Management

  • Provide prompt technical support for systems, networks, hardware, and applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, operating systems (Windows/macOS), software, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (email, applications, tools).
  • Assist employees with setup and configuration of workstations and devices.


IT Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance of IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues promptly.
  • Manage and track company IT assets including laptops, desktops, peripherals, and licenses.
  • Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement, installation, servicing, and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and inventory records of all IT infrastructure.


System Monitoring & Security

  • Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
  • Assist with regular system updates, security patches, antivirus management, and data backups.
  • Support implementation and adherence to IT policies, procedures, and best practices.


Administrative Support Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative operations and office management tasks.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and maintenance teams.
  • Support procurement of office supplies, equipment, and IT materials.
  • Maintain office records, documentation, and asset logs.
  • Help organize meetings, employee onboarding setups (ID creation, system allocation), and facility arrangements.
  • Ensure smooth running of office facilities (internet, electrical, workspace arrangement, etc.).
  • Provide general administrative assistance to internal teams as required.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/macOS), networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Understanding of networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Degree, diploma, or coursework in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA are a plus.
  • Prior experience in IT support, admin support, or office operations will be an advantage.
