We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IoT & Sensor Integration & Testing Engineer who’s passionate about embedded systems, device connectivity, and real-world IoT environments. This internship offers hands-on experience integrating and testing advanced IoT hardware — including ANPR Cameras, Spot Sensors, FASTag Readers, Controllers, and related devices — to ensure reliability, interoperability, and system stability in smart mobility and parking solutions.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Integrate and test IoT devices (ANPR Cameras, RFID Readers, Sensors, Boom Barriers, Controllers, etc.) with gateways and cloud platforms.
  • Perform end-to-end functional and interoperability testing of devices in lab and field environments.
  • Validate device communication, latency, and data integrity between hardware, middleware, and cloud. 
  • Simulate failure scenarios (e.g., network outage, hardware disconnect) and document system behavior.
  • Support hardware setup, wiring, and configuration for test environments.
  • Develop or assist in creating automation scripts (Python/Shell) for repetitive device checks.
  • Test and validate FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) updates and rollback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with product, firmware, and QA teams to troubleshoot and improve hardware–software integration. 
  • Document test procedures, results, and improvement recommendations.
  • Contribute to improving test frameworks and internal tools.


Preferred Background

  • Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related disciplines. 
  • 0–2 years of experience in IoT, embedded systems, or device testing.
  • Understanding of communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, Modbus, CoAP, RS-485, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IoT middleware concepts.
  • Exposure to microcontrollers, GPIOs, and serial communication is a plus.
  • Basic scripting (Python, Shell, or Bash) for test automation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced engineering setup.

  • Duration: 3-month internship/Full Time

  • Location: Work from Office (Noida), a task completion-based approach
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, followed with 2-hour weekly review on Saturdays
  • Collaboration: Weekly team meet-up for better synergy
  • Resources: Candidates must arrange their own laptop and internet
  • Stipend: As per industry standards
  • Certification: Internship completion certificate awarded at the end of tenure
