Job Summary:

Inverter Service & Technical Support Engineer


Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Technical Expertise

  • Understanding of

    inverter parameters, settings, and LCD configurations

    .
  • Knowledge of

    inverter protection features

    such as over-voltage, under-voltage, over-frequency, DC reverse polarity, etc.
  • Ability to

    troubleshoot faults

    in both

    low kVA and high kVA inverters

    .
  • Practical knowledge of

    inverter wiring layouts

    for

    on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid systems

    .
  • Detailed understanding of

    inverter ratings, specifications, and performance parameters

    .
  • Capable of performing

    inverter testing, commissioning, and servicing

    .
  • Experience in

    lithium-ion and lead-acid battery integration with inverters

    (optional but preferred).
  • Ability to perform

    house wiring and load connection

    as per standards.


🛠 Field Service & Customer Support

  • Attend

    customer calls

    and provide technical assistance remotely or on-site.
  • Ability to

    diagnose and resolve critical issues in the field

    .
  • Provide

    field service support

    specifically for major or escalated complaints.
  • Maintain

    service reports, test results, and documentation

    .


🗣 Communication & Customer Handling

  • Strong speaking and interpersonal skills to communicate with customers clearly and professionally.
  • Provide

    technical guidance and training

    to end-users or junior technicians.


📋 Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the technical team for

    warranty support and parts replacement

    .
  • Ensure

    compliance with safety standards and company procedures

    .
  • Provide inputs to

    R&D or production teams based on field feedback

    .
  • Willingness to travel for service visits when required.
  • Maintain

    inventory of tools and service materials

    .
  • Knowledge of

    solar monitoring portals and remote monitoring tools

    will be an added advantage.


Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Diploma / ITI / B.Tech

    in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience

    in inverter service or solar industry preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of

    higher kVA and lower kVA inverter testing

    .
  • Good command over

    technical documentation and parameter settings

    .
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Basic computer knowledge

    for reporting and monitoring portal login.
