Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and test inverters and related equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of inverters (string/central/hybrid).
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and software-related issues in inverters.
  • Conduct site inspections, identify faults, and provide timely solutions.
  • Coordinate with the technical support team for complex issues.
  • Prepare service reports and maintain documentation of work performed.
  • Provide training and technical support to customers and junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Support warranty claims and escalate unresolved cases to higher-level engineering teams.
  • Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and calibration requirements.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems (power electronics preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in inverter servicing and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving ability under field conditions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for on-site service support.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Power Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of experience in servicing solar/grid inverters (string, hybrid, or central).
  • Knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical safety standards is preferred.
  • Familiarity with testing instruments and service software tools.
