Role Overview

Academic Counselor

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective learners via inbound and outbound calls.
• Understand learner profiles, career goals, and skill gaps to recommend appropriate DBA training solutions.
• Articulate program features, outcomes, and pricing with clarity and confidence.
• Meet or exceed monthly enrolment targets through structured follow-ups and pipeline management.
• Maintain accurate lead data and engagement activity within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with academic, operations, and support teams to ensure a seamless learner onboarding experience.
• Handle objections professionally and provide timely pre-sales support

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 13 years of experience in academic counseling, international edtech sales, or B2C inside sales.
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English.
• Strong consultative selling and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and digital communication platforms.
• Understanding of IT, database management, or technical education is a plus.
• High degree of ownership, resilience, and goal orientation.
