About Shrianna Federation

Shrianna Federation is a Farmer Producer Organization (FPO)–led consortium working under Rani Durgavati Shrianna Protsahan Yojana to strengthen the millet value chain (Kodo, Kutki & other minor millets). The federation focuses on procurement, processing, branding, and marketing of millets to enhance farmer income and promote sustainable agriculture.

Role: Business Development InternKey Responsibilities:

· Conduct market research and analysis on millet demand, supply, and pricing trends.

· Identify potential buyers, retailers, wholesalers, and institutional partners.

· Assist in developing business strategies for millet-based products (raw, rice, value-added).

· Support in partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, food companies, and retailers.

· Contribute to branding, promotional campaigns, and digital marketing for 'Shrianna Millets'.

· Support in procurement planning and farmer engagement.

· Prepare weekly progress reports and maintain buyer/partner databases.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Pursuing MBA / PGDRM / PGDRD / Agri-Business Management / Rural Development / Food Technology / Marketing or equivalent.

· Strong interest in agriculture, FPOs, and rural value chains.

· Good communication skills (Hindi & English).

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Skills Required:

· Market research & analysis

· Sales & communication skills

· Team coordination & networking

· Knowledge of millet/agri sector (preferred)

· Digital marketing basics
