Interior Site Supervisor

Job Title: Interior Site Supervisor
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (site visits across Mumbai/Navi Mumbai)
Reporting To: Project Manager / Site Manager
Department: Interior Projects / Execution

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day on-site operations of interior fit-out/finishing works: carpentry/joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, MEP finishes, etc. (site-based execution). SimplyHired+1
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, design specifications and quality standards. Apna+1
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors/suppliers, labour teams and internal design/engineering teams. Apna+1
• Monitor and track site progress; prepare daily/weekly site reports, highlight delays or issues, propose corrective actions. Apna+1
• Manage material receipt, storage, usage, inventory, prevent wastage, ensure specified material quality. Apna+1
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness and housekeeping in compliance with company / regulatory standards. Apna+1
• Read, interpret drawings/plans/specifications and raise clarifications or discrepancies as required. SimplyHired+1
• Liaise with clients (site visits, approvals), consultants and internal teams to ensure alignment between design and execution. Apna
• Lead, supervise and manage on-site labour team: monitor attendance, productivity; resolve minor conflicts; ensure discipline and work quality. Apna
• Assist in billing/quantity verification for executed work (in conjunction with site/project team). Apna
• Travel to project sites in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai region as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum qualification: 12th Pass; Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Architecture or equivalent preferred. Apna+1
• Experience: Typically 2-5 years (or more) of site supervision in interior fit-out or finishing works. Apna+1
• Strong technical knowledge of interior finishes, materials, execution methods and site practices. Apna
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, details. SimplyHired
• Good communication and leadership skills; ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders. SimplyHired
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, maybe site reporting tools) are beneficial. SimplyHired
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites within the region; flexibility in working hours as site demands.
• Preference for candidates with valid driver’s licence (if travel/vehicle usage is required).

Working Conditions & Compensation

• Field-based role — most of the work at site, some office coordination required.
• Salary range: Depending on experience (for Mumbai region) typically ₹20,000 – ₹40,000+ per month, depending on size of projects and company. (Based on market listings) Apna+1

• Must be prepared for site conditions: construction environment, sometimes non-standard hours, physical demands.
