Job Description

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will oversee the complete execution of residential and commercial interior projects, manage project teams, ensure high-quality delivery, and streamline operational processes. This role requires strong coordination, leadership, vendor management, and deep understanding of interior fit-out workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of interior projects (residential/commercial).
  • Create project timelines, work schedules, and resource plans.
  • Monitor daily site progress and ensure completion within deadlines.
  • Coordinate with designers, carpenters, electricians, painters, and other teams.
  • Conduct quality checks at every stage of execution.

2. Team & Vendor Coordination

  • Manage workforce: site supervisors, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
  • Allocate tasks and ensure teams follow design & technical guidelines.
  • Negotiate vendor rates and maintain strong vendor relationships.

3. Material & Inventory Management

  • Oversee procurement of materials: plywood, laminates, hardware, lights, fittings, etc.
  • Verify BOQs, check material quality, and track inventory at sites.
  • Reduce wastage and optimize material cost.

4. Client Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients during project execution.
  • Provide regular updates, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage changes, additional work requests, and approval processes.

5. Process & Compliance

  • Ensure all projects follow safety standards and company SOPs.
  • Maintain documentation: reports, site photos, work orders, and billing updates.
  • Work closely with accounts team for billing, vendor payments, and budgeting.

6. Quality Control & Handover

  • Conduct final quality inspections.
  • Ensure snag list completion and smooth handover of the completed site.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of materials, site work, BOQs, and execution processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project tracking tools, and site documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
