Role Description

Interior Designer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and interior designers to understand project goals, concepts, and lighting requirements.

• Create detailed lighting design layouts, simulations, and calculations using Dialux / Dialux EVO.

• Develop AutoCAD-based lighting plans, sections, and fixture placements.

• Suggest suitable lighting fixtures, techniques, and solutions based on space functionality, aesthetic appeal, and project intent.

• Evaluate architectural drawings to determine focal points, lighting zones, and integration feasibility.

• Ensure lighting design aligns with industry standards, lux levels, and energy-efficiency guidelines.

• Research latest lighting trends, technologies, and product innovations.

• Prepare presentation-ready lighting concepts, BOQs, and design documentation for clients and internal teams.

• Coordinate with the sales and technical team to ensure correct product recommendations and project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux / Dialux EVO.

• Knowledge of SketchUp or similar 3D tools (preferred).

• Strong understanding of lighting principles, lux levels, beam angles, and fixture applications.

• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

• Detail-oriented, creative, and able to manage multiple projects independently.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
