Position: Accountant Location: Chennai (Medavakkam) Employment Type: Full-Time Languages Required: Tamil & English Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally . Maintain accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and bills. Prepare and maintain records of vouchers, receipts, and payments. Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely vendor payments. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing. Support preparation of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Maintain petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation. Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits. Generate MIS reports and support management in financial planning. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (or related field). 1–3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry preferred). Strong knowledge of Tally (mandatory). Basic working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets; ERP exposure is a plus. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and systematic work approach. Good communication and coordination skills.
