Role Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms.
• Develop and optimize our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Understand the nuances of downstream systems and architect scalable integration solutions.
• Engage with PMS partners to identify and implement new features and updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Continuously improve our backend infrastructure, automate tasks, and set best practices for integrations.
• Monitor and track the daily status of integrations, proactively identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in backend web development.
• Proficiency in

  TypeScript

  and experience working with

  NestJS

  or similar backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with

  Object-Oriented Programming

  and its various paradigms.
• Strong understanding of

  automated testing

  at every level (unit, integration and end-to-end).
• Strong understanding of API development, including

  RESTful APIs and SOAP XML

  .
• Experience working with

  message queues

  and understanding of

  pub-sub architectures

  in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with

  databases and ORM frameworks

  for efficient data management.
• Proficiency with

  Git

  and development tools such as

  Visual Studio Code

  (or any preferred IDE).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to test and validate code before deployment.
• Experience with

  integrating third-party systems

  and optimizing data flow between platforms.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in frontend development using React or other similar frameworks.
• Experience working in the

  hospitality tech industry

  or with PMS integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and infrastructure automation.
