Job Description

To safeguard company assets and ensure maximum claim recovery by leading all insurance-related processes, while independently managing the end-to-end documentation and

compliance lifecycle of the company’s LPG fleet. This role functions as a standalone

department, liaising with Logistics, Operations, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance & Claims

 Lead end-to-end motor insurance claim handling: intimation, surveyor coordination,

documentation, and settlement.

 Track all insurance policies to ensure timely renewals with zero lapses.

 Ensure Hazardous Goods (HAZ) licenses are valid for all fleet vehicles.

 Negotiate and escalate with insurers to minimize rejections or delays.

 Maintain a live tracker of claims: filed, in process, settled, rejected.

Vehicle Documentation & Compliance

 Maintain master register of all vehicles: RC, permits, tax, fitness, PUC, hypothecation,

NOCs, and loan documents.

 Proactively manage renewals with advance alerts, ensuring full compliance.

 Coordinate with RTOs, banks/NBFCs, and transport authorities for clearances.

 Ensure yard/operations teams maintain up-to-date documents on all trucks.

Risk & Reporting

 Standardize documentation checklists for accident claims and compliance renewals.

 Submit monthly dashboard covering:

o Claim status and amounts recovered/lost

o Document renewals due/overdue

o Financial exposure from pending claims or lapses

 Identify recurring problems in claims or documentation and propose fixes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 % of claims settled vs. filed

 Average time for claim settlement

 % of timely renewals (target: 100%)

 Value of claims successfully recovered vs. lost due to documentation gaps

 Accuracy of master register and reporting dashboards

Candidate Profile

 Experience: 15–25 years in Insurance, Banking, or Transport Compliance; retired

PSU/insurance officers encouraged.

 Education: Graduate; Insurance/Risk/Compliance certifications preferred.

 Skills: Strong negotiation, regulatory knowledge, documentation accuracy,

RTO/insurance processes.

 Traits: Integrity, persistence, strong follow-up discipline, ability to guide support staff.

Compensation

Negotiable based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.74 - ₹70,000.00 per month
