Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Insurance Consultant located in Chennai. The Insurance Consultant will be responsible for providing consulting services to clients, assessing their insurance needs, and offering tailored insurance solutions. Daily tasks include evaluating financial risks, advising on appropriate insurance coverage, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirement and provide them with suitable insurance options.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess sound knowledge of insurance products across Life, General, and Health categories
  • Advise clients on suitable insurance solutions based on their specific requirements
  • Provide comprehensive support during the claims process to ensure timely and efficient settlements
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, including accurate documentation and timely filings
  • Assist with commission reconciliation processes and maintain accurate records
  • Manage and support the policy renewal process to ensure uninterrupted coverage for clients
  • Conduct periodic reviews of client insurance portfolios and drive awareness through events, workshops, and digital content
  • Collaborate on product development initiatives, process enhancements, and team capability building


Required Qualifications:

  • Requirement: IRDA exam for Role of Specific Person.
  • Freshers willing to learn are welcome to apply.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Good understanding of Insurance and Finance in general.
  • Excellent communication, and client relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint for analysis and reporting.
