Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle

  shift-based responsibilities

  to ensure smooth and continuous plant operations.
• Perform routine and breakdown

  maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems

  .
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to

  field instruments

  such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, level switches, etc.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot

  PLC-based control systems

  , HMIs, and SCADA.
• Perform inspection and maintenance of

  MCC (Motor Control Center)

  and

  PCC (Power Control Center)

  panels.
• Ensure timely resolution of electrical faults and prevent unplanned downtime.
• Maintain daily shift logs, maintenance records, and root cause analysis reports.
• Collaborate with production, utilities, and quality teams for coordinated maintenance activities.
• Follow all

  safety procedures

  , electrical codes, and

  GMP standards

  applicable to the edible oil industry.
• Support installation, commissioning, and calibration of new instruments and electrical systems.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of

  electrical systems and instrumentation in process industries

• Expertise in

  PLC, MCC, PCC

  , and basic SCADA operations
• Good understanding of

  preventive and predictive maintenance techniques

• Ability to read and interpret

  electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics

• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting

  field instruments

  and automation components
• Sound knowledge of

  safety regulations

  in a food-grade environment
• Willingness to work in

  rotational shifts

  and respond to breakdown calls

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in

  Electrical Engineering

• 3-5 years of experience

  in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in

  edible oil

  ,

  FMCG

  , or

  food processing

  industry
• Exposure to

  automated plant operations

  and

  process instrumentation
