Job Summary: The Instrument Engineer will be responsible for the selection, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems used in the sewage treatment process. This role ensures that all instruments function efficiently to support the safe and compliant operation of the plant. Maintain up-to-date records of calibration certificates, maintenance logs, and technical documentation. Project Involvement: Support the commissioning of new systems and upgrades. Collaborate with project and process engineers to ensure instrumentation design meets operational needs. Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and contractors for the procurement and servicing of instruments. Review and approve technical specifications from vendors. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation in a water/wastewater treatment or process plant environment. Strong knowledge of process control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS). Familiarity with industry standards such as ISA, IEC, and relevant environmental regulations. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical drawings.
