Institutional Sales Manager

As an Institutional Sales Manager at Sapcon, you will be responsible for driving sales of finished steel products to institutional and project-based clients. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving sales of finished steel products across major categories such as flat steel and long steel products. - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market mapping and direct client engagement. - Collaborating with internal teams to optimize supply solutions and delivery timelines. - Tracking market trends and competitor pricing to recommend strategic decisions. - Ensuring smooth execution of deals through coordination with mills and logistics partners. - Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across target accounts. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 4-6 years of experience in finished steel sales to OEMs, project companies, or fabricators. - Deep knowledge of steel consumption in sectors like automotive, infrastructure, fabrication, renewable energy, and engineering. - A degree in Engineering, Commerce, or Business. An MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain is preferred. - A proven track record of managing client accounts and closing high-value B2B deals. In addition, you should possess the following skills: - Strong understanding of finished steel goods, specifications, grades, and applications. - Ability to provide solution-driven selling with knowledge of supply chain efficiencies. - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM tools. - Self-driven with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced field-sales environment. - Willingness to travel extensively across PAN India.
