Description
Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure production infrastructure on Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins to streamline deployments and ensure smooth delivery cycles. Monitor system health and application performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible. Deploy, monitor, and manage workloads running in Kubernetes clusters including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and OpenShift. Implement site reliability practices including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis. Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery processes. Maintain documentation related to infrastructure, automation scripts, and DevOps processes. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues with speed and accuracy in a 24/7 production environment if needed. Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of total experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure/Systems Engineering. At least 4 years of experience in managing production cloud environments (Azure or GCP). Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform (4+ years), Ansible (4+ years). Proficiency with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions or Jenkins (4+ years). Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools: Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana (3+ years). Strong experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, AKS, and OpenShift (minimum 3 years). Solid understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and scripting (Bash, Python). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication to Have : Exposure to Docker, Helm charts, and service meshes (e.g., Istio). Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
