Role: Team Leader – Inside Sales

Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)

Experience

Total 6–8 years in Tele sales / Inside Sales, with a minimum 3–4 years of proven tele sales team-handling experience
(Experience managing outbound telesales teams is mandatory)

Job Summary

Responsible for managing, motivating, and driving the performance of a team of tele sales executives selling 99acres.com’s digital real estate advertising solutions to builders and brokers in the South region. The role focuses on new client acquisition, revenue delivery, conversion improvement, quality control, and process adherence, while building a high-performing and disciplined tele sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management & Performance

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of 8–10 tele sales executives
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly targets for NCA, revenue and productivity
  • Monitor call quality, talk time, conversion ratios, follow-ups, and closures
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-ones, and coaching sessions
  • Motivate the team to consistently deliver against aggressive targets

Sales & Revenue Delivery

  • Ensure achievement of New Client Acquisition (NCA), collections targets
  • Support team members in closing high-value and complex deals
  • Track pipeline movement and ensure timely follow-ups and deal closures
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling of 99acres products

Process, Quality & Reporting

  • Ensure strict adherence to sales processes, CRM hygiene, and compliance norms
  • Maintain accurate MIS dashboards and reports on sales, collections, and productivity
  • Strong working knowledge of Advanced Excel is mandatory
  • Identify gaps in lead quality, conversion, or execution and drive corrective actions

Training & Team Development

  • Onboard and train new hires on product offerings, sales pitch, objection handling, and pricing
  • Conduct refresher training sessions to improve conversion and call quality
  • Share best practices, success stories, and market insights within the team

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Handle escalated customer cases and ensure resolution within defined TAT
  • Share regular market and competitor feedback with management

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Proven experience in outbound telesales / inside sales team handling
  • Excellent English communication skills (mandatory)
  • Strong negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools
