Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Associate with 2 - 3 years of experience to join our sales team. This role will focus on managing the end-to-end process from lead consolidation to qualification, primarily targeting investment banking, private equity, consulting, and corporate clients interested in our research, analytics, and on-demand expert solutions.

The Inside Sales Associate will also collaborate closely with our digital marketing partners to support LinkedIn and email outreach campaigns, ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for the business development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate leads from multiple sources including digital marketing campaigns, partnerships, and outbound efforts into a centralized CRM system
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria including client type, industry, and buying signals
  • Maintain and update lead status, interaction history, and next steps in the CRM
  • Execute initial outreach via emails, calls, and social platforms to engage decision-makers across investment firms, consulting companies, and corporate strategy teams
  • Collaborate with digital marketing partners to plan and run LinkedIn and email outreach campaigns, ensuring alignment with target account segments
  • Support the development of tailored messaging based on industry, persona, and business needs
  • Leverage platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, RocketReach, Lusha, and similar tools to identify and enrich lead data
  • Conduct research to build prospect lists and monitor buyer intent or trigger events
  • Monitor lead performance and campaign metrics to improve targeting and messaging strategies
  • Prepare reports on lead progression, outreach outcomes, and overall pipeline health
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities to the sales and delivery teams
  • Share market feedback and prospect insights to enhance sales and marketing alignment

Qualifications

  • BBA or MBA Graduate in Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in inside sales, lead qualification, or business development, preferably in financial services, analytics, or research outsourcing
  • Familiarity with investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate strategy clients
  • Hands-on experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, RocketReach, Lusha, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho)
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to build early-stage rapport
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven with a data-backed approach to prospecting
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, collaborative environment
