Job Description

Position Overview

We seek an Associate Director with 12+ years of experience in financial research, deal execution, or transaction support to lead our Deal Support and Transaction Collaterals & Solutions division. This role requires a client-centric leader who can oversee high-stakes deal deliverables, manage P&L, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client & Deal Coordination

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for investment banks and corporate clients, ensuring flawless delivery of deal collaterals within agreed timelines
  • Oversee the development of accurate, compliant, and investor-ready materials, including Information memorandums, financial models (DCF, LBO, M&A), valuation reports, teasers and market/competitor analyses
  • Collaborate with clients to define scope, clarify requirements, and troubleshoot challenges during fundraising/M&A processes
  • Implement rigorous quality control processes for all deliverables to mitigate errors and ensure compliance with client/regulatory standards

2. Team & Operational Management

  • Lead a team of analysts/managers, fostering expertise in presentation design, collateral creation, financial modelling, and market research
  • Optimize workflows and tools (e.g., automation, templates) to enhance efficiency and scalability

3. P&L Ownership

  • Head and manage the BU's revenue and profitability targets, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost optimization
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities through client retention, upselling, and expanding service offerings (e.g., sector-specific research packages)

4. Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of industry trends (e.g., sector valuations, regulatory changes) to ensure collaterals reflect current market realities
  • Develop proprietary frameworks/tools to differentiate Rubyworks deliverables (e.g., integrated ESG valuation models)

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with investment banks, legal teams, and client CFOs/treasury teams to align deliverables with broader transaction strategies
  • Support business development by showcasing Rubyworks expertise in pitch materials and client workshops

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in financial research, transaction support, investment banking, or corporate finance
  • MBA/CFA/CA preferred; deep expertise in information memorandum, financial modeling, valuation, and investor-facing materials
  • Track record of managing teams and P&L for deal execution services
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
