Job Description

Job role and responsibilities.
An infra lead (infrastructure lead) designs, manages, and supports the core IT systemsservers, networks, cloud, and storagethat a business relies on, ensuring their security, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals. Key responsibilities include developing infrastructure strategies, leading and mentoring technical teams, managing budgets and vendors, overseeing projects like cloud migrations, ensuring compliance, and acting as a point of integration for security and DevOps practices. Core Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:
Developing and executing IT infrastructure roadmaps, long-term plans, and improvement initiatives to support future business growth.
Team Leadership:
Leading, motivating, and providing technical guidance to expert infrastructure teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
System Management:
Overseeing the design, deployment, and ongoing support of infrastructure components, including servers, networks, cloud systems, and data storage.
Project Management:
Leading and managing high-stakes projects, such as cloud migrations, network upgrades, and implementing new technologies.
Budget & Vendor Management:
Managing infrastructure budgets, selecting and managing external vendors, and negotiating contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Security & Compliance:
Implementing security policies and governance frameworks across the infrastructure, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitoring infrastructure performance, ensuring stability and reliability, and reporting on key metrics to stakeholders.
