Information Technology Generalist

Join our growing team at Keystone Security as an IT Generalist with a strong focus on software development, systems integration, and networking, while also supporting our office IT setup, client tech needs, and security monitoring platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and automation scripts (Python/Node.js/SQL).
• Manage network infrastructure (VPNs, routers, firewalls, etc.) and ensure systems are scalable and secure.
• Support integration and maintenance of client platforms and APIs used in video surveillance and monitoring.
• Provide basic IT support for our office – device setup, software installs, VoIP, and troubleshooting.
• Work directly with clients to assist with IT onboarding, remote access setup, and issue resolution.
• Maintain and audit surveillance systems (e.g., Immix, SureView, Milestone) and ensure data security.
• Assist in cybersecurity best practices, system patching, and IT asset tracking.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years’ experience in IT support, networking, or software development
• Strong programming skills (Python/JavaScript) and knowledge of network systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud servers (AWS, Azure) and system monitoring tools
• Exposure to video surveillance software or security monitoring systems is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support both technical and non-technical teams
• Bonus: Familiarity with security tech (VMS, alarm monitoring tools) and cybersecurity practices
