Implementation, Upgrades, And Enterprise Application Integration Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions. The role demands strong expertise across IT Service Management (ITSM) functions, platform modules, and integrations. The architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and administrators to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient ServiceNow solutions that align with organizational Responsibilities Design & Architecture :
- Define, architect, and implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and other enterprise functions.
- Create high-level and detailed architecture documents, solution designs, and system roadmaps.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions using ServiceNow Development & Configuration :
- Lead design and configuration of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB).
- Implement ServiceNow applications such as ITOM, ITBM, SecOps, HRSD, and CSM where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, configuration, and performance & API Management :
- Design and manage integrations with third-party systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, web services, and MID Server.
- Define data models, mappings, and synchronization processes for smooth integration across platforms.
- Governance & Standards
- Establish technical standards, guidelines, and governance processes for ServiceNow solutions.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and scalability are embedded in all solutions.
- Provide oversight for release management, upgrades, and version Engagement & Leadership :
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and ServiceNow administrators to define roadmaps.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ServiceNow platform capabilities.
- Mentor developers, administrators, and technical consultants to enhance delivery Candidate Profile :
Core Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, with at least 3+ years in an architect role.
- Proven expertise in ITSM modules and experience in designing enterprise-wide ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration, scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), and workflow Skills :
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and CMDB best practices.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and integration design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development tools: Flow Designer, Service Portal, Business Rules, UI Policies, Catalog Items.
- Experience with upgrades, patching, and performance tuning on Skills :
- Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules (ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM).
- Experience migrating decentralized/localized technologies into centralized ServiceNow-driven systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices in ServiceNow.
- ITIL v3/v4 Certification preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) and Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications are highly desirable.
