About Us:

We are an influencer marketing startup in the process of building an innovative influencer marketing platform designed to streamline collaborations between brands and creators. We are looking for an industry expert to help us build a product that solves real-world problems for marketing professionals.


Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Influencer Marketing Manager to serve as a Volunteer Advisor for our product development team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to lend their deep industry expertise to shape the functionality and user experience of a new tech platform from the ground up.


You will not be running campaigns. Instead, you will be our go-to expert, guiding our development team by explaining the real-world challenges, workflows, and best practices that define modern influencer marketing. Your insights will be crucial in ensuring our platform is practical, effective, and built to industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Expert Guidance: Act as the primary subject matter expert for our product and engineering teams, translating your hands-on experience into actionable product recommendations.


Identify Pain Points: Clearly articulate the common challenges, roadblocks, and inefficiencies you've encountered in influencer discovery, campaign management, negotiation, and reporting.


Validate Workflows: Review and provide critical feedback on our proposed platform workflows, ensuring they align with industry-standard practices and solve real user problems.


Feature Prioritization: Advise on which features are "must-haves" versus "nice-to-haves" for a successful influencer marketing manager, helping us prioritize our development roadmap.


Usability Feedback: Offer feedback on the platform's user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) from the perspective of an end-user.


What We're Looking For:

Deep Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years of direct experience as an Influencer Marketing Manager, having managed multiple campaigns and brand deals from start to finish.


Process-Oriented Thinker: The ability to deconstruct and clearly explain your day-to-day workflows, from finding influencers to measuring ROI.


Articulate Communicator: Excellent ability to explain complex industry concepts, challenges, and best practices to a non-expert (technical) audience.


Strategic Insight: A strong understanding of what makes influencer marketing campaigns successful and the tools that support that success.


Familiarity with Tools: Experience using various influencer marketing platforms and tools is a significant plus.


Commitment: Ability to dedicate 6 hours per week for the 2-month project duration.
