We at Takshashila Consulting also working on multiple strategic projects in the specialty chemicals domain and are looking to engage with experienced professionals or industry specialists who have deep knowledge of their respective markets.


We are currently seeking consultants / subject matter experts in the following areas:


  • Antimicrobial Compounds (AMC) – Professionals with strong understanding of the Indian market landscape, key application sectors, customer base, and value chain. Experience in driving business development or market expansion for functional additives or specialty formulations will be ideal.


We are specifically looking for individuals who have strong industry connects to end customers in plastics, textiles, coatings, or related segments.


  • Forehearth Colour Concentrates (FCC) – Experts with knowledge of the glass manufacturing ecosystem, colour concentrate applications, and global market trends. Professionals well-versed with customer requirements, furnace technology, or colourant sales will be a strong fit.


Candidates with existing connects in major glass manufacturing or furnace supply networks will be preferred.


  • Ceramic Filter Discs (CFD) – Individuals with background in the lead-acid battery industry and familiarity with component design, R&D linkages, and OEM relationships across automotive, inverter, or industrial applications.


We are seeking professionals who have direct relationships with OEMs or R&D teams and can facilitate access to end customers.


These are short-term, project-based consulting roles (flexible / remote) structured on a success-linked model, offering attractive performance-based incentives.


Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional from the Antimicrobial Compounds (AMC) , Forehearth

colour concentrates and Ceramic Filter discs industries to support a strategic engagement

focused on market expansion. The role requires leveraging your industry expertise, market

insights, and professional network to identify opportunities, initiate client discussions, and facilitate

commercial introductions.


Key Responsibilities

Antimicrobial Compounds (AMC)

  • Identify and connect with potential customers and decision-makers across plastics, textiles, coatings, and packaging segments in Indian market
  • Leverage industry network to open doors and arrange meetings with end-users or OEMs
  • Market insights on competitors, demand hubs, import trends, and pricing rationale
  • Support pre-sales consultations and facilitate pilot discussions or product evaluations
  • Act as a strategic interface between our client and target accounts to drive conversion


Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development of Antimicrobial Additives / Masterbatches / Specialty Chemicals preferred
  • Prior association with companies such as BASF, Clariant, Dow, Microban, Sanitized AG, Lifeline Technologies, Addmaster, BioCote, or similar
  • Strong understanding of Indian AMC market dynamics – key players, applications, and demand centres
  • Proven network and credibility with OEMs, converters, and distributors in relevant sectors
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate independently and deliver results


Forehearth colour concentrates

  • Identify and connect with major glass manufacturers and forehearth furnace producers in export markets
  • Facilitate introductions and meetings with potential customers in container, perfumery,
  • and speciality glass segments
  • Market insights on global and Indian FCC industry — key players, capacities, colour concentrate volumes, and major export markets
  • Support pre-sales engagements and act as a bridge between our client and target accounts to drive business conversion


Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development in glass colourants, forehearth colour concentrates, or glass additives
  • Prior experience with companies such as Pemco, Ferro, Colorobbia, Johnson Matthey, Fusion Ceramics, Encera, Hanovia, Heraeus, or local FCC suppliers
  • Strong understanding of Indian and global FCC market dynamics – key glass
  • manufacturing clusters, players, furnace distribution, and consumption trends
  • Well-networked with glass manufacturers (e.g., Şişecam, Verallia, O-I Glass, Heinz-Glas, Stoelzle, SaverGlass, Bormioli Luigi) or furnace suppliers (e.g., Nikolaus SORG, HORN Glass Industries, Fives (BH-F), Electroglass, TECO/Zedtec, Falorni Tech)
  • Proven ability to leverage relationships to generate leads and open commercial discussions


Ceramic Filter discs used in lead acid batteries

  • Identify and connect with battery OEMs and component suppliers across automotive, inverter, and industrial segments in Indian market
  • Leverage industry relationships to arrange discussions with R&D / procurement teams evaluating filtration, venting, or separator technologies
  • Market insights on Indian and global lead-acid battery landscape – key players, volumes, technology trends, and competitive benchmarks
  • Support pre-sales and technical evaluations, acting as a bridge between our client and OEM engineering / purchase functions


Candidate Profile

  • 8–20 years of experience in sales, business development, or R&D liaison in lead-acid battery, separators, venting systems, or filtration materials
  • Strong understanding of lead-acid battery design, CFD adoption potential, performance benefits, and integration considerations
  • Prior association or network with OEMs such as Exide, Amara Raja, Luminous, Okaya, Eastman, HBL Power Systems, Tudor, or global battery majors
  • Familiarity with battery R&D centres, testing institutes, and technology partners in India and overseas
  • Proven ability to leverage industry contacts to open opportunities and facilitate commercial introductions


Compensation Structure

  • Commission ( Rs 10K) per qualified client introduction / meeting arranged
  • Additional incentive (% of sales value) upon successful customer conversion
