Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Asst. Manager/Compliance Officer HR Industrial Relations to oversee and manage all industrial relation activities across our renewable power projects. The ideal candidate should have significant expertise in the renewable energy sector and be adept at handling local labor issues, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining harmonious relations at all project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve all industrial relation issues at project sites, including negotiations with local authorities and labour unions.
  • Oversee compliance with minimum wage regulations and labour laws across sites in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.
  • Ensure all site-related statutory compliances are met, including registration, licenses, and renewals as per local labour regulations.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to resolving potential conflicts and labour disputes to avoid disruptions in project operations.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to monitor labour practices and adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to industrial relations, compliance, and workforce management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for handling grievances and facilitating resolutions effectively.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in labour laws and regulations to ensure continued compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for improving employee relations and fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR with a focus on industrial relations within the renewable energy sector/Factory Compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance requirements, and site-level HR operations.
  • Proven ability to handle complex industrial relation cases with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to various project sites as required.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adept in conflict resolution and crisis management.
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed compliance reports and documentation.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including government bodies and labour representatives.

Travel Requirement

  • The candidate must be open to traveling as needed to solar sites located in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in managing IR in the renewable power sector or any Manufactring Compliance.

Demonstrated ability to handle statutory audits and ensure full compliance.
