About the Role

As an Industrial Automation Software Lead at Supertech, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced automation software solutions. You’ll work closely with clients, project teams, and engineering leaders to design reliable, high-performance control systems and ensure successful project delivery from concept to commissioning.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse, large-scale industrial projects and play a key role in driving Supertech’s automation excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation systems, including PLC/SCADA, DCS, RTU, Historian, and Batch applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of automation and software engineers.
• Define and manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand technical requirements and develop optimal automation strategies.
• Apply ISA S88 standards in batch process automation.
• Oversee system integration, testing, documentation, and validation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization in automation software development.
• Support project execution, commissioning, and after-sales technical support as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• 12–15 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and software development.
• Proven expertise in PLC/SCADA, DCS, RTU, Historian, and Batch control systems.
• Strong understanding and implementation experience of ISA S88 Batch Standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and team coordination skills.
• Excellent client interaction, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and support field operations when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with major automation platforms: Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell, Emerson, Honeywell, or similar.
• Exposure to IIoT, industrial data analytics, and system integration technologies.
