About Lowe’s India

Lowe’s India is the retail technology center for Lowe’s Companies Inc. and is based out of Bengaluru, India. Set up in 2014, Lowe’s India focuses on technology and shared business services. Technology teams support e-commerce, mobile, infrastructure and corporate systems that enable various functions such as supply chain, distribution, corporate services. Initiated with just over 20 associates, Lowe’s India now has a growing associate base which employs over 3000 people.

Key Responsibilities

• Executes complex IT sourcing projects (software, hardware, telecom) leveraging project management and sourcing tools by developing RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc. as needed.
• Develops of comprehensive bid packages for RFx events utilizing analytics to develop insights in vendor bids.
• Leads cross functional group to drive information gathering from the business, scope development, and contract negotiation critical to completion of the project.
• Develops and executes comprehensive negotiations plan, and conducts direct negotiations with suppliers to maximize the value of deals for Lowe’s.
• Manages, initiates and facilitates communication of project updates to business customers and support stakeholders.
• Executes supplier non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs) as needed.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships typically at the Director level within their subcategory and serves as an escalation for contract and performance issues.
• Develops and negotiates Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Evaluates previous SOWs, KPIs and operational issues to develop improved SOWs with Category Manager input.
• Develops supplier scorecards for RFx results to drive decision making.
• Supports baseline development for RFx events.
• Presents information and materials to stakeholders, evaluating pros/cons of suppliers across multiple award scenarios to influce and drive decision making.
• Manages finance and legal partnership at the project level.
• Leads vendor workshops.
• Work between 2pm-11pm on weekdays

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree: Business, Engineering, Science, or related field

Preferred: Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field MBA, JD, MS, ME

Experience

• 8+ years of IT Procurement (software, hardware, telecom) with an emphasis on sourcing, negotiations, and contracting
• 1-2 years minimum experience with team leadership
• Knowledge and experience with E-Sourcing tools and processes
• Project management skills
• Contracting and vendor management experience
• Negotiation experience
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
