Job Description

As a Customs Documentation Specialist, your primary responsibility will involve handling online customs documentation for import and export processes. You will be required to meticulously scrutinize import/export documents, provide guidance to customers on necessary corrections, and coordinate with shipping lines using various e-portals and Odex software. It will be essential for you to track shipments daily and prepare status reports, as well as liaise with liners for DO-shipment tracking. Effective communication with shippers and consignees for document and shipment status updates will also be part of your duties. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong knowledge of Customs Tariff, Free Trade Agreements (FTA), Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG), and Advance Licenses for Imports/Exports. Proficiency in English, Tamil, and Telugu languages is required, along with excellent email communication skills. Experience ranging from 2 to 7 years in air/sea imports and exports is preferred. A degree from any recognized university is the minimum qualification needed for this full-time position with a day shift schedule. The work location will be on-site.,
