Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Manager with proven hands-on experience

in managing complex enterprise software implementations. The ideal candidate will have a

strong track record of successfully delivering challenging projects while managing diverse

customer requirements and stakeholder expectations.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Implementation (60%)


• - Lead end-to-end implementation of software solutions for enterprise clients

• - Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects with varying complexity levels

• - Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations

• - Conduct requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical

specifications

• - Configure and customize solutions based on client-specific requirements

• - Perform hands-on system configuration, data migration, and integration tasks


Customer Management (25%)


• - Serve as primary point of contact for customers during implementation phase

• - Navigate complex customer organizational structures and politics

• - Handle escalations and resolve conflicts with diplomatic approach

• - Manage customer expectations and communicate project status effectively

• - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels

• - Conduct user training sessions and knowledge transfer activities


Technical Leadership (15%)


• - Troubleshoot technical issues during implementation

• - Collaborate with product and engineering teams for custom requirements

• - Document implementation best practices and create reusable templates

• - Mentor junior team members on implementation methodologies

• - Stay updated with product features and industry trends


Required Qualifications


Education


• - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business

Administration, or related field

• - Masters degree preferred (MBA, M.Tech, or equivalent)

• - Professional qualifications: CA Inter, CS (Company Secretary) considered as added

advantage


Professional Certifications (At least 2 required)


• - Project Management: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master

• - ERP Certifications: SAP Certified Consultant, Oracle NetSuite Certified, Microsoft

Dynamics Certified

• - Cloud Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud

Professional

• - ITIL Foundation or higher for service management


Experience


• - 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in software implementation

• - Proven track record of managing at least 10+ complex enterprise implementations

• - Experience with ERP/CRM/SaaS platform implementations

• - Direct experience with major ERP systems (minimum 2 of the following):

• - SAP (S/4HANA, Business One, or ByDesign)

• - Oracle (NetSuite, Cloud ERP, or JD Edwards)

• - Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Business Central)

• - Other tier-1 ERPs (Sage, Infor, Epicor, Workday)

• - Experience in competitive displacement projects (replacing SAP/Oracle/Dynamics)

• - Understanding of ERP migration challenges and data conversion strategies

• - Demonstrated ability to handle difficult customer situations and nuances

• - Experience in managing implementations worth $100K+ in contract value


Technical Skills


• - Strong understanding of software architecture and integration patterns

• - Proficiency in SQL, APIs, and data migration tools


ERP-specific technical knowledge:


• - Understanding of ERP data models and business processes

• - Experience with ERP integration methods (APIs, middleware, EDI)

• - Knowledge of ERP reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS, BI Publisher)

• - Familiarity with ERP customization vs configuration trade-offs

• - Experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana)

• - Knowledge of implementation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

• - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)


Soft Skills


• - Exceptional communication and presentation skills

• - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• - Ability to remain calm under pressure

• - Customer-centric mindset with high emotional intelligence

• - Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills


Preferred Qualifications


• - PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification

• - ERP-specific certifications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)

• - Experience in ERP-to-SaaS migration projects

• - Experience in B2B SaaS implementations

• - Domain expertise in specific industries (Finance, Healthcare, Manufacturing)

• - Experience with change management frameworks

• - Multi-lingual capabilities


Additional Technical Qualifications


• - Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA)

• - Data Analytics certifications (Tableau, Power BI)

• - Integration platform certifications (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi)

• - Industry-specific certifications (APICS for supply chain, CPA for finance)


Performance Metrics


• - On-time project delivery rate (Target: >90%)

• - Customer satisfaction scores (Target: >4.5/5)

• - Implementation cycle time reduction

• - First-time-right implementation rate

• - Customer reference ability
