Immigration Consultant - Global Mobility

Position Overview

The Immigration Consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance and end-to-end support to clients on immigration processes, work permits, visas, and compliance requirements related to relocation. The role involves managing client cases, coordinating with authorities, and ensuring smooth and compliant immigration transitions for individuals and corporates relocating to India or overseas.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Advisory & Case Management

• Counsel clients on immigration procedures, documentation, and eligibility requirements for various visa and work permit categories.
• Assess client profiles and recommend the most suitable immigration pathways.
• Prepare, review, and submit visa/work permit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws, policies, and procedures for different countries.

• Documentation & Compliance

• Collect and verify all necessary documentation for applications.
• Ensure compliance with immigration regulations and company policies.
• Track and monitor application progress, keeping clients informed at every stage.
• Handle queries or follow-ups with embassies, consulates, or government bodies.

• Client Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, HR managers, and relocating employees.
• Provide proactive updates and resolve client concerns effectively.
• Conduct orientation sessions for clients regarding immigration processes and timelines.

• Internal & External Coordination

• Collaborate with relocation, tax, and mobility teams to deliver end-to-end services.
• Liaise with embassies, consulates, and immigration authorities for case handling.
• Support sales teams with proposals, pricing, and immigration-related inputs for new client onboarding.

• Reporting & Administration

• Maintain accurate records of client cases and immigration statuses in the system.
• Generate periodic reports for management and clients.
• Stay updated on immigration trends and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum

  2–5 years of experience

  in immigration consulting, relocation services, or global mobility.
• Strong knowledge of immigration laws, visa categories, and compliance requirements (domestic & international).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict timelines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and immigration case management tools/software.
