Role Description

night shift(7 PM IST To 4 AM IST)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based web applications using Laravel/Symfony/CodeIgniter.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code following best practices.
  • Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to manage complex data structures efficiently.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automated deployments.
  • Stay updated with the latest PHP frameworks, tools, and best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in PHP development with a strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, including query optimization and indexing.
  • Experience with API development, integrations, and authentication (OAuth, JWT, API gateways, etc.).
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.


Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (optional, preferred for senior roles) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in PHP, Laravel, AWS, or database management are a plus.
