Role Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with at least 5 years of experience in backend development for the night shift(7 PM IST To 4 AM IST) . The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, Laravel/Symfony, MySQL, and RESTful API development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable web applications while ensuring high performance and security. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based web applications using Laravel/Symfony/CodeIgniter. Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code following best practices. Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to manage complex data structures efficiently. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers. Implement CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automated deployments. Stay updated with the latest PHP frameworks, tools, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in PHP development with a strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns. Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, including query optimization and indexing. Experience with API development, integrations, and authentication (OAuth, JWT, API gateways, etc.). Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React is a plus). Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket). Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment. Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree (optional, preferred for senior roles) in Computer Science or a related discipline. Relevant certifications in PHP, Laravel, AWS, or database management are a plus.
