Role Summary

We are looking for a Program Manager to oversee and coordinate complex, multi-project programs within a dynamic technology environment. This individual contributor role operates within a Program Management Office (PMO), driving cross-functional efforts and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery of impactful initiatives. The Program Manager will work across teams in a matrix structure without direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of programs encompassing multiple related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and quality standards.
• Oversee and engage in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept through release and maintenance.
• Utilize Agile Release Train (ART) methodologies to synchronize delivery across various agile teams.
• Define and enforce Definition of Done (DoD) criteria, ensuring program deliverables meet agreed quality and completeness standards.
• Encourage a constructive dialogue around scope changes or feature prioritization, fostering accountability with senior stakeholders in a professional and collaborative manner.
• Leverage advanced JIRA capabilities, including project structuring, workflow optimization, and custom reporting, to enhance transparency and tracking.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and DevOps teams to effectively integrate CI/CD pipelines into program workflows.
• Manage and escalate issues thoughtfully and promptly to ensure risks and blockers are addressed to minimize impact.
• Deliver clear, concise, and insightful executive summaries and dashboards to facilitate leadership decision-making.
• Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive program success within a matrix organization, maintaining strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or Agile are a plus.
• 10-15 Years of experience with 3+ years of experience in program or project management within technology environments, including exposure to software product development or SaaS/cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle and familiarity with scaled agile frameworks like SAFe or Agile Release Train.
• Proficiency in JIRA administration, including building complex structures, workflows, and generating customized reports.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience working alongside DevOps and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prepare executive-level reports and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to provide thoughtful leadership influence, gently challenging assumptions to maintain program integrity and ensure alignment.
• Skilled in escalation management, balancing assertiveness with diplomacy to drive resolutions.
