React Developer (IC3 Level)
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IC3-level React Developer with 4–6 years of front-end engineering experience. The ideal candidate is strong in modern React (Hooks, Context, functional components), TypeScript, state management, testing frameworks, accessibility, and performance optimization. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build scalable, user-focused web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern, responsive UI features using React, TypeScript, and associated tools.
- Implement component-driven architecture, reusable UI patterns, and design-system-compliant components.
- Own feature delivery end-to-end: design → development → testing → deployment → support.
- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs with robust error handling, caching, and loading strategies.
- Write unit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright.
- Optimize performance using lazy loading, memoization, virtualization, bundle size reduction, and profiling.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility, semantic HTML, and internationalization needs.
- Collaborate with designers and PMs for requirement refinement and UX improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and maintain engineering best practices.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps / GitLab CI) and modern Git workflows.
- Support production releases, debugging, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4–6 years of professional front-end development experience.
- 3+ years hands-on expertise in React with modern patterns (Hooks, Context, functions).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with state management: Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Recoil, or equivalent.
- Hands-on with modern tooling: Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn/pnpm, ESLint, Prettier.
- Testing experience: Jest, React Testing Library, and familiarity with Cypress/Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive UI.
- Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication (OAuth/OIDC/JWT).
- Strong Git skills and collaborative version control workflows.
- Solid understanding of performance tuning and web vitals.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Azure Static Web Apps, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of micro frontends, Module Federation, or monorepo setups (Nx/Turborepo).
- Familiarity with design systems (Fluent UI, Material UI, Chakra) and Storybook.
- GraphQL client experience (Apollo/Urql).
- Experience using Lighthouse, WebPageTest, or Bundle Analyzer.
- Awareness of web security best practices (CSP, XSS prevention, OWASP).
