HVAC Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design & Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience:

· Perform basic and detailed engineering of mechanical systems in hydropower plants.

· Develop & review design deliverables: P&IDs, GA drawings, layout plans, BOMs, and technical specifications.

· Carry out mechanical calculations: pressure drop, flow, pump sizing, motor calculation, thermal load, etc.

· Knowledge of Pipes, Tubes & Fittings Standard used in Hydro Industries.(i.e IS/DIN/EN etc.)

· Use AutoCAD for drawing preparation.

System Engineering – Design & Integration of mBOP systems:

· Oil Pressure system & Lubrication system (OPU & LOS)

· Cooling Water Systems (CWS)

· Drainage and Dewatering Systems (D&D)

· HVAC Systems

· Compressed Air Systems (CAS)

· Firefighting Systems (FFS)

· EOT cranes

· Oil Handling System

Equipment Selection

· Select mechanical equipment based on design specifications, technical suitability, and project standards.

· Prepare data sheets and technical evaluation of vendor offers.

· Coordinate with procurement for suitable vendor finalization based on Technical offer evaluation.

Project Execution Support

· Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and handover stages.

· Resolve engineering issues arising during execution and site activities.

· Participate in design reviews and technical discussions at supplier & customer end.

Compliance & Documentation

· Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, IS/IEC/ASME/API codes, and client requirements.

· Generate and maintain all relevant engineering documentation and records.

Cross-Functional Coordination

· Support Projects, Procurement, QA/QC and Commissioning teams with technical clarifications and design inputs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
