The Role

As the HR & Culture Lead, you will anchor the people and performance ecosystem of Ikigai.You’ll manage the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding to engagement — while also overseeing the trainer ecosystem that drives our learning experience.This role blends structure with empathy, ensuring that every person — team member or trainer — feels aligned, empowered, and supported.

Key Responsibilities

People & Culture • Lead all HR operations — hiring, onboarding, performance, and engagement. • Drive the Performance Management System (PMS) with fairness and clarity. • Shape and sustain a culture rooted in trust, learning, and collaboration. • Maintain and evolve behavioural and talent profiles for every team member.

Trainer Management

• Oversee the onboarding, coordination, and performance of internal and external trainers. • Create clear structures for feedback, scheduling, and collaboration between trainers and academic teams. • Foster a strong community of trainers — ensuring alignment with Ikigai’s pedagogy and values. • Support trainer development through periodic reviews, learning sessions, and recognition initiatives.

Who You Are

• 3–7 years of experience in HR, People, or Learning & Development roles. • Strong sense of ownership, empathy, and professional maturity. • Excellent at balancing people care with operational discipline. • Skilled communicator — calm under pressure, clear in intent. • Experience in education or startup environments is a plus.
