Typical Day as a Human Resources Generalist in Mumbai, India might include the following, but is not limited to: Coordinates and schedules phone and in-office interviews for candidates. Prepares interview packets for interviewers and candidates. Manages the background check process. Partners with recruiters to identify sourcing needs and enhance talent acquisition efforts. Generates recruitment-related reports. Plays an active role in organizing and coordinating recruitment events, ensuring effective planning and execution. Handles internal meeting planning requests. Prepares invoices for the Human Resources team. Completes payroll submission and other operational activities. Organizes various engagement and welfare events for local employees. Facilitates programs for recognizing & rewarding performance at local level. Conducts new-employee orientations. Maintains employee personnel files. Performs other administrative support duties as requested. Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects. Who you areAssociate s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources, or equivalent work experience required. 3+ years of related Human Resources work experience preferred. Basic knowledge of India employment law and recruitment practices. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients. Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages.
