Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for planning the manpower needs of the company by following recruitment guidelines. You will also be required to design and execute an effective induction program for all new employees. Additionally, you will be in charge of organizing and carrying out performance appraisals, as well as managing staff replacements and transfers. Your role will involve providing advice on employee salary, wages, and benefits to ensure the attraction and retention of a highly motivated workforce, including the implementation of promotion policies. Furthermore, you will need to establish a robust grievance handling system and stay updated on labor laws and statutory requirements to ensure compliance by appointed contractors. You will also participate in labor relations negotiations and contribute to the development of pre-negotiation strategies and plans. Handling staff absenteeism will also be a part of your responsibilities.
