Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee core HR operations across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, internal movement, exits, and documentation
  • Ensure adherence to Indian labor law compliance, statutory filings, and internal policy governance
  • Collaborate with global and local recruitment teams to align on hiring needs and streamline onboarding
  • Guide performance processes, including PIP implementation, and advise on disciplinary actions
  • Support employee relations through proactive engagement and issue resolution
  • Partner with leadership to support retention, workforce planning, and development strategies
  • Administer benefits programs, including leave policies and insurance-related queries
  • Track and analyze key HR metrics to inform business decisions and identify trends
  • Manage HR systems and ensure accuracy across employee data and reporting

The internal responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material. (Blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required qualifications and skills

  • 610 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a multinational or high-growth environment
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR operational compliance
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to resolve employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred qualifications and skills

  • MBA or PGDM in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience scaling HR practices in a growing or matrixed organization
  • Ability to work flexibly across time zones with global teams

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA/PGDM preferred
