Overall Years of experience in a senior HR role 20 years***MALE CANDIDATES BASED OUT OF MUMBAI WILL BE PREFERRED****We are seeking a dynamic Human Resource Head with a strong background in infrastructure and construction domain specializing in Labor Law and Union Relations to lead our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian labor laws, union negotiations, and industrial relations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, fostering positive employee relations, and supporting the strategic goals of our organization. Should be flexible for frequent travelling to all locations within India where the company has a presence as and when needed.Duties/Areas of responsibility will include the following:-Talent Acquisition & Onboarding -Corporate Communication & Labor Law Compliance-Employee Lifecycle Management-Payroll Operations & HR ComplianceJob SummaryDrive the recruitment strategy for the company, while bringing a high level of clarity surrounding hiring plans and metricsEnsure all the documentation with respect to HRIS & Background verification is accurately updatedCommunicate and reiterate company policies at regular intervals to all employees Co-ordinate to provide accurate inputs for payroll processing and adhere to deadlinesCoordinate with external vendors for PF/ESIC and other compliance as required by the Companies ActEnsure organizations compliance with all labor laws and regulationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with union representativesHandle collective bargaining agreements and resolve disputes effectivelyMaintain a healthy work environment for employees and handle all grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with legal standards Responsible for Vendor management including expense budgetingProvide support and guidance to members of the HR team in their day-to-day operational rolesImplement strategies to improve employee engagement & company culture to become an Employer of Choice in the local marketThe role requires travelling to different company locations within India as neededKey CompetenciesStrong leadership skillsIn-depth knowledge of Indian labor Laws and regulationsStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsExcellent people skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholdersDetail-oriented and analytical problem-solving skillsMaturity to deal with issues in a creative & challenging environmentAbility to plan and execute effectivelyQualificationsPGDM/MBA/Doctorate specializing in Human Resources Management, labor Law, Industrial Relations or related fieldPrior experience in leading a team of at least 8 HR professionals (Minimum 10 years of managerial experience)Prior experience with an Infrastructure or Construction company is desirable 20+ years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management and Organization DevelopmentStability in previous job, minimum 3 years in the last profile
