Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations, including grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct performance appraisals using standardized metrics (e.g., productivity, attendance).
  • Draft and implement HR policies (e.g., leave, raises, promotions).
  • Support employee engagement initiatives (e.g., recognition programs, town halls).
  • Handle union-related issues (if applicable) and maintain open communication.
  • Maintain employee records in Spine HRMS, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Assist in auditing existing HR practices to remove inefficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws (e.g., Industrial Disputes Act, 1947).

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in HR or related field.
  • 25 years of HR experience, preferably in employee relations.
  • Familiarity with Spine HRMS or similar HRIS tools.
  • Knowledge of Indian labor laws and manufacturing HR challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
