Erp Implementation Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven professional to manage item naming, coding, and master data creation in our ERP system. This role ensures accuracy, consistency, and standardization of item master data to support smooth operations across procurement, production, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Item Master Management
• Create and maintain item codes, descriptions, categories, and attributes in ERP.
• Implement standardized naming conventions to avoid duplicates and maintain consistency.
• Audit and clean up existing item master data as required.
• ERP Data Implementation
• Input and validate product-related data in ERP during NPD projects.
• Test and verify item data functionality within ERP modules (procurement, production, sales).
• Cross-Department Coordination
• Liaise with NPD, Purchase, Production, Stores, and Finance teams to collect product details.
• Track and update stakeholders on new item code creation status.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain proper documentation of item naming standards, code lists, and change logs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ERP standards, and audit requirements.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Prepare periodic reports on item creation, open requests, and data quality.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance data management efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Odoo /Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / ERPNext or similar).
• Strong knowledge of item master data management and standard coding structures.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation).
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Engineering, IT, or Supply Chain.
• 4-5 years of experience in ERP data management, item master creation, or NPD-related roles in a manufacturing setup.
• Experience in data standardization and ERP migration/implementation projects preferred.
