Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a QMS Assistant Manager to lead and strengthen our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. This role will drive compliance, audits, and process excellence, while mentoring the quality team and supporting cross-functional departments in achieving global quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of QMS across all functions.
  • Plan and execute internal audits; coordinate with external auditors and certification bodies.
  • Supervise and guide the quality control & QMS team.
  • Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, and preventive actions for quality issues.
  • Monitor KPI-based quality performance metrics and report directly to senior management.
  • Ensure documentation control for QMS (manuals, SOPs, procedures).
  • Train employees on quality awareness, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement projects in line with lean manufacturing and best practices.
  • Ensure strict compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and statutory requirements.

Qualification & Skills

B.Tech / M.Tech / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

710 years of experience in Quality Management (manufacturing/engineering sector preferred).
