HRSG Pressure Part - Component Engineer

HRSG Pressure Part - Component Engineer will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) Pressure parts products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components.   1.      Roles and Responsibilities:  HRSG Pressure Part - Component Engineer ·      Engineering for Thermal Layout and Design of Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) or Boilers including process calculations, material selection, pipeline sizing, establishing flow circuit diagram of pressure retaining components, implementing miscellaneous components like pumps, valves, etc. ·      This should also include Flow Circuit Diagram, Code Strength Calculations, Basic Component Stress Calculation & Stress Analysis by using basic formulars. ·      Interpreting and translating international code & standards such as ASME / EN / IBR into various component calculation and selection. ·      Developing Product Geometry by using 2D/3D tools based on front engineered calculation and selection information. ·      Includes indirect people management responsibility including staffing and product development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy. ·      A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members. 2.    Skills /Competencies: a.      Essential Skills:   ·      Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Mechanical Engineering is preferred. ·      Role requires 3 - 5 years of experience in the Engineering/Technology & Process Engineering. ·      Familiarity and experience with Combined Cycle Power Plants, HRSG, Boiler experience is preferred. ·      Entry level candidate in the Engineering/Technology & Process Engineering can apply whereas candidate can demonstrate strong capabilities on defined domain and skills.   b.     Preferred skills   ·      Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills. ·      Strong Excel Skills to produce engineering calculation sheets. ·      Intermediate level of AutoCAD manipulation skill to produce manufacturing dwgs. ·      Entry level of 3D (Aveva E3D or Equiv.) manipulation skill is preferred.   c.      Additional Skills: ·      Excellent customer interfacing skills. ·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Languages. ·      Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
